Jeffrey Thomas

Jeffrey J. Thomas, 52, of Sheboygan Falls, died peacefully in his sleep of an apparent heart attack, early Sunday morning, January 3, 2016. Jeff was born on December 25, 1963 in Sheboygan, the loving son of James and Nancy Thomas, wonderful brother to Lori (Doug) Gregoire and an amazing uncle and friend to Jeremy (Dawn) Gregoire. The real joy in his life was his great-niece, Carlee Gregoire. He enjoyed taking her for walks, most recently pulling her on a sled, getting down on the floor and playing with her, taking her out to see the horses and just being around her. Jeff also loved taking the dog, Nora, on long walks. Jeff enjoyed the simple pleasures of family time, he was an avid Packer fan, enjoyed snowmobiling in the winter and going to Road America in the summer.
Jeffrey graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1982. After high school he worked on the grounds crew at Pine Hills for many years. Most recently he was employed at Town and Country Golf Course. Jeff loved working at Town and Country and the wonderful comradery he had with the guys. He could fix anything and no job was too big for him to undertake. If anyone needed a hand Jeff was always there ready and willing to help, you didnt have to ask twice. In fact, usually you didnt have to ask at all, he would just show up.
Jeff was very kind, hardworking, caring, and had a huge, loving heart that stopped beating way to early.
Jeffery is survived by his beloved mother and father, James and Nancy Thomas, his sister Lori (Doug) Gregoire, one nephew, Jeremy (Dawn) Gregoire and one great-niece, Carlee Gregoire. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. Jeffrey had a special bond with his friend and cousin Rick Thomas, and friends Ed and Dave Konz. Jeff and Rick worked together on many special projects. Between the two of them they could usually fix just about anything.
It is very hard to say goodbye and we dont want to, but we need to remember that he touched so many peoples lives, so positively Jeffrey we miss you, but we will remember you and love you always!
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 5:30 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St. Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Town of Sheboygan Falls First Responders, the Sheboygan County Sheriffs Department, and the Orange Cross Ambulance Service for all of their care and support.
