Jerlyn Edland

Jerlyn (Jeri) S. (Pickhardt), Kaesermann, Edland, age 66, died peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2015 surrounded by her loving family as a result of complications due to Scleroderma. Jeri was born in Sheboygan on June 21, 1949 to the late Herbert and Helen (Van de Zande) Pickhardt. She attended local schools. She was united in marriage to the late Gary Kaesermann and later to Jon Edland. Jeri worked at The Sheboygan Press for 22 years and St. Nicholas Hospital until her recent retirement. Jeri enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren gave her much joy and laughter while playing games, being outside and watching movies. Jeri looked forward to her annual trips to Nags Head, North Carolina as well as road trips to Oneida and card games with friends in Sheboygan. Jeri is survived by her daughter, Cory (Ty) Stuefen; son, Matthew Kaesermann; grandchildren Trent Stuefen, Elise and Jackson Kaesermann, and Olivia Fox; sisters, Judy (Bud) Keller and Sharon (Chuck) Huberty, as well as nieces and nephews. Upon Jeri's wishes, a private memorial will take place in Nags Head, North Carolina - a place she was drawn too and called Heaven. A memorial fund has been established in Jeri's name for the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. A very heartfelt thank you to Bernie Olson - she provided daily support and compassion to Jeri and her family during this time. Bernie and Jeri enjoyed each other's company and laughed at all the goofy things friends laugh at together. Her friendship to Jeri was invaluable. Thank you to the staff at St. Nicholas Hospital and the Sharon Richardson Hospice facility for all their care and compassion.
