Jerome Just

Jerome (Jerry) Oscar Just, 88 of New Holstein, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on February 16th, 2018.
Jerome was born on December 3rd, 1929, in Stockbridge, Wisconsin to Peter & Florence (Moehrke) Just. On April 18, 1951 he married Janet Helen Fischer; they were divorced in 1978. Later he met Kathleen Rabe, a woman he deeply loved and spent his final years with.
Jerome began his education in a one room school house. After completing High School, he went to the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and received his Bachelor of Science degree. During his last year of college, he married, enlisted, and was sent to Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. In 1954, he was transferred to Rantoul Air Force Base where he completed his military career. Using his GI bill, Jerome went back to the University of Wisconsin, Madison for his first Master's Degree and received his second Master's Degree at Cornell University. Soon after he found employment in Appleton, Wisconsin, with Fox River Tractor Company. In 1962. Jerome relocated to Hartland, Wisconsin for employment at Aquatic Controls Company. In 1967 he moved to Sturtevant, Wisconsin, where he began employment for J.I. Case Company as a Mechanical Engineer, which enabled him to travel the world. Jerome retired in 1981 and became a small business owner. He enjoyed music, wood working, a multitude of crafts, was a licensed pilot and was in association with the Society of Automotive Engineers, Freemasonry and Eastern Star.
Jerome is survived by 3 daughters, Carol (Dave) Rustici, Linda (Tom) Lehner of Loveland, Colorado and Ellyn Just of Fort Collins, Colorado; 4 Grandchildren Matt (Katie) Rustici, of Denver, Colorado, Carla (John) Dolan and Nate (Jenn) Lehner of Loveland, Colorado, Jessie (Zach) Jones of Covington, Kentucky; and 8 Great Grandchildren with one on the way. He is also survived by his Sister Janet (Veryl) Graf of Howards Grove, Wisconsin.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Peter Gordon Just and his sister Lois Mae England.
