Jerome Leahy

Jerome Kenneth Leahy, age 62, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 08, 2014. He was born on July 18, 1951 to parents Jerome S. and Eunice (Schuette) Leahy. He proudly served in the US Army from 1970-1972. Jerome was united in marriage on October 26, 1974 to Mary Cykana. He worked for 30 plus years over the road trucking, presently at Primary Transportation. Jerome enjoyed time spent with family, going to Vegas for drag racing, his classic Mopar, spending time at the "fort" with his best friend John Lang or a Sunday discussing cars with his cousin Donnie or good friend Floyd. Jerome is survived by his wife Mary, two daughters; Rachel (Jarmen Hilker) and Patricia Leahy, one brother Timothy (Carol Schwinn). Also loved by other relatives, friends and his two companions Fudge and Louie. Funeral Service for Jerome will be held on Tuesday, March 11 at 5:00 PM at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. (Hwy 42 & JJ) with Father Matthew Widder presiding. Visitation at the Funeral Home from 3:30 PM until time of service. Memorials are appreciated to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
