Jerome Meyer, Jr.

Jerome K. Meyer, Jr., age 68, of Sheboygan, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. He was born November 20, 1946 in Sheboygan to Jerome K. and Marilyn (Miller) Meyer, Sr. He attended local schools and after graduation from high school enlisted in the US Navy. Following his honorable discharge he began employment with the Kohler Co, retiring after twenty-seven years. Jerry was a faithful, active member of Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Sheboygan where he participated in Bible study. He also participated in the "Freedom on the Inside" prison bible ministry over the years. He enjoyed watching old western movies and the fellowship of his church friends. Jerry is survived by his mother, Marilyn Meyer of Laona, WI; two daughters, Sarah (Scott) McLaughlin of Slinger, WI and Lisa Meyer of Plymouth, WI; and four granddaughters, Elizabeth Truter, Madison Levanduski, Hailee Levanduski, and Anikah Levanduski. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday June 30, 2015 at Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 4930 Green Valley Lane, Sheboygan, WI 53083. Pastor Brian DeJong will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at the Central Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Wednesday morning, July 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
