Jerome "Whitey" Schnuelle
Jerome L. Schnuelle, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday morning, May 11, 2017 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls after battling cancer for 2 years. He was 62 years old.
Jerry was born March 12, 1955 in Sheboygan, the son of Oscar and Betty (nee Stone) Schnuelle. He attended Sheboygan South High School. On July 27, 1974, he was united in marriage with Debora Oglan in Sheboygan. For over 40 years, Jerry worked at the Kohler Company Iron Foundry, retiring in October 2016.
An avid gun and hunting fan, Jerry enjoyed target shooting at the Sheboygan Rifle and Pistol Club and hunting, especially his trips to Texas.
Jerry is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Debora and their sons: Eric Schnuelle of Milwaukee, Dayton Schnuelle of Sheboygan and Richard Ertel of Sheboygan. He is further survived by 2 grandchildren: Josalin and Wyatt Schnuelle; his mother Betty Klingeisen of Howards Grove; 3 brothers: Steve (Barb) Schnuelle of Appleton, David (Diana) Schnuelle of Sheboygan, James (Tessa) Schnuelle of Sheboygan; 2 sisters: Carol (David) Diehl of Sheboygan and JoAnn (Ron) Mullens of Waldo, sister-in-law Sandra (Jack) Reinke, brother-in-law Daniel Oglan, nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends Joanie, Chuck, Scotty, Dana, Al, Mike and many, many more.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Memorial Services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St. in Sheboygan. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 10am - 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Sheboygan County Humane Society or the Sheboygan Rifle and Pistol Club.
