Joanne Raatz

Joanne (Bernhardt) Raatz, age 72 of Sheboygan passed away Sunday evening, October 26, 2014. Joanne was born November 2, 1941 in Sheboygan to parents Harold and Gladys (Dekarske) Bernhardt. She was married on April 16, 1960 to Robert Raatz. Joanne worked for many years at the Golden Living Center nursing home in Sheboygan and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Sheboygan. Joanne is survived by; her three children, Jeffrey (Jennifer), Michael (Ann) and Bobbie (Alexis) McCain; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Jacob, Jade, Evan, Lauren, Jalen, Grayson and London; her sister, Betty Ninmer; two brothers, Harold (Nancy) Bernhardt and Daniel (Karen) Bernhardt. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, David and Richard Bernhardt. Family and friends are welcome for visitation at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N. 8th Street, Sheboygan on Friday, October 31 from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. A Funeral Service for Joanne will take place at 6:00 PM with Pastor Alan Kretschmar officiating. Memorials in Joanne's name to St. Paul's Lutheran Church are appreciated.
