John E. Jantz of Kohler, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on August 2nd at Memorial Hospital in Sheboygan, Wisconsin where he had been a patient for several days.

After graduation he continued to work with his father in "Jantz's General Store" in Caroline. In 1951, he was drafted into the United States Army and subsequently served two years in the Korean Conflict being stationed in Mt. Fuji, Japan. He worked for the company for 36 years where he was the recipient of numerous sales and performance awards. After his official retirement in 1989, he continued to work for the company as a parttime employee until 1995 when he and Mary relocated to Kohler to be closer to family.
During his retirement, he enjoyed long walks around the village with his dog, manicuring his yard, attending Packer games and fishing trips to Lake Lucerne where he had been fishing since the mid 70's.
