Jonathan "Tory" Buschmann age 70, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016. He was born on February 1, 1946 in Sheboygan to parents Robert and Helen (Mayer) Buschmann. Tory was a 1964 graduate of Sheboygan North High School. He also attended UW-Oshkosh and Northern Michigan University with a major in history. Tory had several work interests including; owning and operating Terrys Diner, working at ASAA as a supervisor, deliveries for Westside Bakery.
Tory enjoyed hunting in Idaho with his son and longtime friends, in the marsh with his grandson Derek and even took his granddaughter Nora to hunt. He loved fishing, wood working and sports, especially football. Tory liked to tinker and fix things. He was a "jack of all trades, master of many." He also enjoyed being able to sit down and play a good round of cribbage.
Tory is survived by three children; Robert (Janet) Buschmann, Kristin (special friend Scott Price) Dewar and Jill (Scott) Grunert; five grandchildren, Nathan, Rachel and Emily Buschmann, Derek and Nora Dewar; two greatgrandchildren, Dollsinaya Buschmann and Alaina Dewar; one sister, Jill Drews; two nephews, Lance and Barry Drews; one niece, Bobbie Lynn (Dewey) Illig and beloved springer, Honey Dew. Tory is also survived by his extended family, Barbara Shipe and her family; daughters, Stephanie and Yvonne Ritmiller, son, Kristian (Amanda) Ritmiller, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tory is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Angel Ritmiller. He will be remembered by many, missed by some, but loved by us all.
Memorial Service will be held at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th Street, Sheboygan on Thursday, March 3 at 4:00 PM. A time of visitation and support will be held on Thursday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Memorials are appreciated in his name.
