Josephine Rosten

Josephine Rosten, 73, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2014 at her son, Daniel's home, surrounded by family. Josephine was born in Sheboygan on March 19, 1941 to Rose and Joseph Miller. Josephine attended schools in Sheboygan. On March 17, 1979, she married Dennis Rosten. Josephine was employed at Polyfab over 35 years until retirement. She loved and enjoyed all of her family, loved Bingo, going out in the morning for coffee with her girlfriends, traveling and going to Branson. Josephine is survived by her sons, Rusty (Denise) Maxey, Daniel (Tammy) Maxey and Travis Maxey; brothers, Robert (Angie) Miller, James Miller, Fritz Miller; grandchildren, Josh Maxey, Ashley Maxey, Tyler (Tiffany) Maxey, Kristen Maxey, Brandon Maxey, Ryan Maxey, Amber Rodgers and Bridgett Rodgers; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Michael, Wyatt, Kylee, Daylin, Hallie, Taya, Andrew and Kaiden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Rosten, son Gary Maxey, daughter Cindy Maxey, parents, Rose and Joseph Miller, grandparents, brothers and sisters. Everyone would like to give a special thank you of appreciation to her daughter-in-law, Tammy Maxey, for the in home hospice care given to Josephine during her time of passing at Daniel and Tammy's home. A very special thank you to Rusty Maxey, Denise Maxey, Daniel Maxey, Tammy Maxey, Tyler Maxey and Bridgett Rodgers for an extended amount of time at Josephine's home prior to her moving in with Daniel and Tammy. A thank you to Dr. Bryan Schmitt, Aurora Hospital Two Rivers, Aurora Hospice and Aurora Visiting Nurse Association. Josephine was loved very much by everyone. There will be a gathering and a memorial service for family and friends on November 14, 2014 at Faith Church (2201 South 42nd Street, Manitowoc) with Pastor Pat Hanson officiating from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with the memorial service starting at 6:00 p.m. The family will be having a private family service at the gravesite at a different time.
