Which raised over 1,900 pounds of food for pantries in Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties; and also, chairing and hosting LTC's first student led diabetes awareness symposium and testing. In addition, Julie is a tireless advocate of the benefits a technical college has to offer-creating professional, work-ready employees within a short period of time. In fall of 2012, Julie saw one of her dreams come true, when she established "The Thomas Achieving Dreams Volunteer Scholarships" at Lakeshore Technical College.
