June L. Minch, 90, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Sunny Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center. June was born on June 9, 1924 to Lyndon and Lucille (Mueller) Viel in Plymouth, Wisconsin. She was married to Gerald Minch for over 61 years, he preceded her in death on December 29, 2008. June was an avid collector of antique dolls, Barbie dolls, doll houses, and Depression dishes. She donated many of her collections to local museums. She enjoyed going to garage sales and selling her treasures at the 7-Mile Fare and other shows within the area. June believed she needed to keep active and walked a mile a day at the mall. She also enjoyed visiting with the other walkers. June is survived by her son, Mark (Diane) of Sheboygan; daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Gensch and Kathy (Jack) Witt both of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Jackie Diener of Waukesha, Carrie Diener of Wauwatosa, Gary (Eileen) Diener and Craig Diener both of Sheboygan, and Rosalie (Ming) Zhao of China; great grandsons, Thomas and Andrew Diener of Sheboygan, and William Zhao of China; sister, Mary (Don) Ahrens of Sheboygan; and brother and sister-in-law, Gordon (Hazel) Minch of Ripon, Gloria (Jim) Ninnemann of Plymouth. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her husband, Gerald and her parents, June is preceded in death by her brothers, Bob (Carol) Viel and Jim Stuefan; and her sister, Virginia (Edward) Kassey. Per June's wishes a private celebration of her life will take place at Zimmer Westview Funeral Home. June's family would like to thank the caregivers of Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Center, especially Cindy and Becky, and Sunny Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center for their care and compassion.
