Kathleen Hiebing

March 23, 1936 — November 23, 2015

Kathleen Anne Hiebing, age 79, of Sheboygan went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday evening, November 23, 2015 Kathy was born March 23, 1936 to Ambrose and Margaret (Schroeder) Puksich. She was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School, Class of 1955. On January 2, 1957 she was united in marriage to David E. Hiebing. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2000. For over twenty years Kathy was employed as a memorial counselor for Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery and Gardens of Peace Mausoleum. She was also the former Town Clerk for the Town of Sheboygan. She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Parish. In her retirement years she worked part time for the Vollrath Company, LLC. She also served as a Eucharistic minister and also as a sacristan at St. Nicholas Hospital. She is survived by her children, David (Sandra) Hiebing and their children, Amanda, Alyssa, and Aaron; Lisa (Steve) Hiebing and their children, Matthew, Rebecca, and Jacob; Kevin Hiebing and his daughters, Ashley and Jessica; Susan (Michael) Evert and son, Lukas, and Paul Hiebing; three sisters, Maranne Wustenhagen, Louise Neils, Betty Kauger, and two brothers, Steve Puksich and George Puksich, her sister-in-law, Jean Hiebing; her brother-in-law Ben (Janet) Hiebing; her friend and neighbor, Brian Hanson, whom she loved like a son; and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Kathy was preceded in death by her grandson, Craig Hiebing and her five brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Chapel of Eternal Light at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6706 Superior Ave., Kohler, WI 53044. Rev. Phil Reifenberg, Pastor of St. Dominic Catholic Church, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name. Kathys life revolved around her children and grandchildren.
