Keith Darling

Keith Doc D. Darling age 73 of Sheboygan, passed away at St. Nicholas Hospital surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, August 27, 2016 after a courageous seven month battle with leukemia. He was born on July 29, 1943 in El Paso, TX to his parents DuWayne and Mildred (LeMahieu) Darling. Keith graduated from North High School in 1962. He was employed at the Vollrath Company, retiring in 2005 after 43 years. Keith was united in marriage to Carol Schramm on September 29, 1962.
Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and bowling. His list of accomplishments include; placing second two different times and placing first in 1983 at Walleye Weekend, a national tournament held in Fond Du Lac, many awards in bowling, including numerous 300 games, 800 series and a record setting score during the 2010-2011 Senior State USBC Tournament. Keith also bagged a record setting buck while bow hunting which was recognized by Pope and Young.
Keith is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol; one son, Kerry (Vicki); three grandchildren, Jessica (fianc� Chris) Darling, Jeremy (Sandra) Nelson and Tricia Nelson; five great-grandchildren, Owyn, Alexis, Cameron, Oliver, and Elliot; one aunt, Fern LeMahieu; two sisters-in-law, Pat Stewart and Ruth Dobrzynski; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Keith is preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, Henry and Rose Schramm; son, Kevin Keith Darling; brothers-in-law, Herbert Stewart and Wallace Dobrzynski.
Family and friends may call at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Ave., Sheboygan on Wednesday, August 31 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Church at 1:00 PM with Rev. Timothy Mech presiding. Committal service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Thursday, September 1 at 10:00 AM.
A memorial fund has been established in Keith's name. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Nicholas Hospital, Dr. Matthew's office, staff at Froedtert Hospital. A special thank you to Pastors Mech and Berg for their comfort and support.
