Kenneth Bitter

Kenneth N. Bitter, 64, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Ken was born July 17, 1949 in Sheboygan to the late Delbert and Evergene (Kaufmann) Bitter. He graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1967. On July 26, 1969, he married the former Susan Glaser at St. John's United Church of Christ, Schwarzwald. Ken was employed at Neuman Plumbing and Heating for 42 years before retiring in 2009. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family. He also enjoyed traveling and going to the cabin in Florence. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by one son, Scott (Ann) Bitter and their children, Robyn and Colton; one daughter, Sherri (Scott) Soucheck and their children, Mavryk and Beau; brothers and sisters, Donna (Tim) Wolf, Karen (David) Hinze, Dale (Donna) Bitter and Dan (Connie) Bitter. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 and JJ, Howards Grove) with the Rev. Robert Hamilton and Rev. DuWayne Hanke officiating. Friends may call on Friday, at the funeral home, from 4 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Santhosh Kumar and the nurses and staff of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.
