Kenneth E. Dehn 84, began his celebration of eternal life with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 13, 2015. Kenneth was the first born son of the late Elmer and Mabel Nipko Dehn. He was born on July 18, 1930 at his home in Berlin, Wisconsin. He received his Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, followed by a Master's in Education from the University of Illinois. Kenneth thoroughly enjoyed the 32 years that he spent teaching electronics at Lakeshore Technical College, retiring June 30,1996. Kenneth was united in marriage to Clara M. Colrue on March 26, 1959 in Scandinavia, WI. Ken's greatest joys in life included the time he spent with his beloved wife and family. He loved being Dad to his three children and was the best Grandpa ever. Kenneth is survived by his devoted wife and life long love, Clara; children, Kendall, Susan (Mike) Mallmann, and Paul (Kim); his grandchildren, Kaylyn (Mike) Penza, Taylor and Hazel Dehn, Jolee and Isaiah Mallmann; great grandchildren, Navia, Selah and Eliza; one sister Delores (Robert) Dirks, sister-in-law Rosie Dehn; Nieces and Nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Ronald. Ken will always be remembered for his kind, forgiving and generous nature. He was a friend and helper to everyone he knew. Ken had the unique skill of being able to fix just about anything, he willingly shared this ability with his family and friends. Kenneth's life was made richer by his enjoyment of music, he often played the guitar, sang and was a gifted whistler. His life was a model of good stewardship. Although Kenneth was faced with health challenges, he always maintained his love of family, sense of humor and Christian faith. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th, starting at 10:00 A.M. Service to follow at 11:30 A.M. at First United Lutheran Church, (2401 Kohler Memorial Drive, Sheboygan, WI) with the Rev. Jacob Werkheiser officiating. The family would like to thank the 2nd Floor Clinical Staff at Sunny Ridge for their kind and compassionate care for Ken over the last 22 months. Memorials may be given to First United Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
