Khou Vang

Khou Vang, age 93, passed away early Sunday morning, September 24, 2017 at her home in Sheboygan.

Khou was born November 8, 1923 in Laos, the daughter of Tsia Cha Vang and Soua Vue. In 1950, she was united in marriage with Neng Yee Chang. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Khou lived most of her adult life in Laos, and moved to Thailand in the mid 1970's. In 1990, she immigrated to the United States, living in Oregon and California before settling in Wisconsin with family.

She is survived by her children: Nkaub Yang, Lug Yang, Cib Chang, Maim Chang, Maiv Chang, Kiab Chang and Npliaj Chang. She is further survived by 43 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, brothers: Txoos Mab Vang, Tooj Zag Vang, Nkaj Pov Vang and Npuag Yias Vang, sisters: Ntxheb Vang, Ntxawm Vaj, Mos Vang and Mab Vang, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3920 Saemann Ave. in Sheboygan. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Wildwood Cemetery.
