Larry Marshall Hill, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015 in Sheboygan. He was born April 8, 1945 in Hibbing, Minnesota to Ernest and Eleanor (Sampila) Hill. He graduated from high school in Hibbing, and attended Hibbing community college and the University of Minnesota Duluth. He settled in Sheboygan and began his working career as a middle school science teacher, first at Urban and then Horace Mann Middle School. He became an engineer at Plastics Engineering Company in 1975, retiring in 2009. Larry was an avid downhill skier, adventuring everywhere from the mountains of the American West to Europe for numerous ski trips with the Skihasen and Fleetwind ski clubs. In addition to skiing, he loved participating in side trips to historical sites and tourist destinations. He was never without his camera, always documenting the views, architecture, food, and his friends. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Larisa of Rochester, MN; two grandchildren, Cora and Caleb; sister, Pam Wakefield of Duluth, MN; nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as many dearly treasured friends. In accordance with Larry's wishes, no memorial service will be held.
