Laura Bain

Laura A. Bain, 72, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at her home.  She was born June 17, 1949, in Sheboygan to the late Chester and Cecelia (Bushway) Dobrzynski.  Laura graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School.  On May 8, 1971, she was united in marriage to the love of her life James Bain.

Laura had a strong faith and was very active for many years at Grace Episcopal Church.  She was a member of the church choir and taught the youth educational classes.  Laura was an avid collector of music boxes; she also loved wolves and huskies and collected many trinkets that incorporated them.   She was an avid Packer fan and believed in the “Magic of Lambeau”.  Her greatest birthday gift was in 2017 when her daughter took her for the first time to Lambeau Field to see Billy Joel live in concert. Her family was her pride and joy, she loved being involved at her grandchildren’s school, helping bake pies for fundraisers and assisting in the lunchroom. Laura loved to bake and at Christmas time, would make her special Chex Mix to give to family and friends.

Laura is survived by her two children, Matthew Bain and Jennifer Bain, her two grandsons, Sam and Christopher Bain, two brothers, and three sisters, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Salvation Army in Laura’s name.

A private family service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler.
