Lillie Mae Seaman age 101, died at Sharon Richardson Community Hospice on Sunday, October 25, 2015. She was born September 30, 1914 in Wheeling, West Virginia to parents James and Lillie (Armstrong) Seaman. Mae had a BA in Education from West Liberty College, WV. Masters work at University of Wisconsin, Madison and Masters Degree from University of Pittsburgh. She taught 10 years in the Wheeling, WV area. Then 29 years in Sheboygan, WI. She taught for a year in the Fullbright Exchange Program in Melbourne, Australia. Mae traveled extensively during her career and after retirement. She gave numerous talks about her travels. She did volunteer work for Hope Reformed Church in Sheboygan, Church missions in Mexico, Aurora Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Mead Library, and several Sheboygan Women's Clubs. Mae was the last of her generation, preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. She has 18 nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 31 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bill TeWinkle presiding at Hope Reformed Church, 612 Ontario Ave, Sheboygan.
