Lilly Ann Thiel, age 92, formerly of Waterview Senior Housing in Sheboygan, went home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday evening, July 12, 2015 at Countryside Manor. She was born October 20 1922 in Sheboygan to Fred and Anna (Kaiser) Weber. She attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School and was a graduate of Sheboygan Central High School, Class of 1941. On November 28, 1942 Lilly was united in marriage to Milford W. Thiel at Trinity Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1987. For a number of years Lilly was employed at Wigwam Mills and later at the Kohler Co., retiring in 1985. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. For a number of years Lilly volunteered at Bethesda Thrift Store. She enjoyed playing cards and going on bus trips to various casinos with her friends and relatives. She loved going for walks and traveling. Lilly is survived by two daughters, Sharon Albright of Cleveland, WI and Gloria (Tom) Zittel of Sheboygan; her son-in-law, John Davis of Cecil, WI; eight grandchildren, Sarah (Pat) Hoeft, Margaret (Wayne) Haines, Tom (Dawn) Davis, Ann Albright, Patti Hill, Laura (special friend, Justin Kurtz) Hemb, Molly (Gary) Oehldrich, and Philip (Mindy) Zittel; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Matichich of Sheboygan; one brother, Fred Weber of Sister Bay; and other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Davis, her son-in-law, Leon Albright, her grandson-in-law, Jarod Hill; her great-grandson, Austin Hill; her brother, Ronald Weber; her sisters-in-law, Elaine Weber and Hildegard Weber; and her brother-in-law, John Matichich. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Rev. John Berg, Associate Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Lilly's family would like to thank the caregivers and nurses at Countryside Manor and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their tender, loving care.
