Manuel Ybanez

Manuel Robert Ybanez, 68, of Sheboygan, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his home. Manuel was born June 7, 1949 in Corpus Christi, TX to Manuel and Manuela (Lopez) Ybanez. In 1965 Manuel and his family moved to WI. In 1969 they moved to Oostburg, and in 1974 they made Sheboygan home. Manuel worked for many companies over the years including, Kohler, Rockline, and he retired from Sargento Cheese.
Manuel had a great sense of humor, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Playing cribbage, dominions, bingo and cards with family and friends was one of his favorite past times. He also enjoyed trips to the casino, loved to dance and play softball and volleyball. He was a Friend of Bill W.
Manuel is survived by his sons, Frank and Christopher Ybanez both of TX, step-daughter Kathryn (Jeff) Verhelst, step-son Tim Brott, special friend Rogene Brott, grandchildren; Alexis and Anya Ybanez and Leo and Qwynn Verhelst, by his brothers; Domingo (Spring), Jamie, and Joe (Donna) Ybanez of Sheboygan, Martin (Donna) and Oscar Ybanez of Corpus Christi, TX, and Ricardo Ybanez of Oshkosh, by sisters; Mary (Mike) Kaquatosh and Eva Gonzalez of Sheboygan, Julie Fleichman of Chilton, Margaret Canales and Alma Pena of Fond Du Lac, and Sarah (Candelario) Deldago and Elizabeth (Hector) Guiterrez of Corpus Christi, TX, he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Pablo, Manuel Jr., and Daniel, and by an infant sister, a sister Georgianne and many special friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at the 1907 Club, 2908 N 21st Street, Sheboygan, WI.
