Marcelene Gall

Marcelene "Marcy" Jeanne (Munnik) Gall, age 85, of Sheboygan went to be with our Lord and in his care on January 19, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee due to medical complications following surgery.
Born in Sheboygan on April 30, 1931, Marcy was the only child of Anelda (Nolden) and Edward Mix. Marcy graduated from North High School in 1940. Following graduation she worked for the Wisconsin Telephone Company as an operator. During that time, she met and married Tonie Munnik on May 12, 1951. Residing in Sheboygan they raised four children, John, Barbara, Thomas and Patricia. As a family they enjoyed outdoors activities and vacations including camping and fishing throughout northern Wisconsin. Throughout their 52 years of marriage they lived in Oshkosh, Appleton, Superior, Brookfield and Green Bay before retiring and returning to Sheboygan. While in Superior, and with all the children in school, Marcy returned to work as a secretary in the front office of the Superior High School. All four children soon found this was both a blessing and curse when they were in high school. In retirement Marcy and Tonie split their time between Sheboygan and Port Isabell, Texas where they would spend the winter living on the Gulf Coast. Additionally, they enjoyed trips visiting their children and grandchildren in locations from Italy to California.
A number of years after the passing of her husband Tonie in 2003, Marcy met and after several years married her second husband Robert "Bob" Gall of Sheboygan on November 24, 2011. Marcy and Bob enjoyed volunteering their time and services at their church and as drivers for "Meals on Wheels". They also delighted in going out and exploring new dining establishments or just spending evenings at the Elks Club, where they originally met.
Those that knew her will fondly remember her easy going manner, infectious smile and her willingness to help others. She loved life to its fullest and loved sharing with others - particularly her family.
Marcy was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She is survived by her husband Bob Gall, son John Munnik (Kathryn), daughters Barbara Andringa (Eric) and Patricia DiPalma (Tom). She also leaves behind ten grandchildren, Tony, Christopher, Kristen, Joshua, Travis, Jennifer, Jonathan, Zachary, Morgan, Michael and six great grandchildren.
Marcy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tonie Munnik, and son Thomas Munnik.
A celebration of her wonderful life will be held on Friday February 3, 2017 at The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer 3027 Wilgus Avenue Sheboygan with Pastor Bryan Osladil presiding. Viewing will begin at 9:00am followed by a service at 11:00am. A private interment will be held on Saturday February 4, 2017.
In lieu of flowers Marcy's family suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
