Marcella Theileke

Marcella Marie Thieleke, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Golden Living Center. She was born in the Town of Centerville on April 15, 1922 to parents Norbert and Malitta (Kress) Leonhard. Marcella attended Red Arrow School in Centerville and then Sheboygan Vocational School for a year. Marcella was united in marriage on September 26, 1942 to Robert Thieleke. She was a long-time member of St. Mark's UCC, Cleveland where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and held many offices. She was a former member of Elm Grove Homemakers Club and member of Monday Morning Breakfast Club. She enjoyed playing sheepshead and canasta. Also spent time doing needle work. Marcella is survived by her daughter Dianne Bub, Houston TX; two grandchildren, Scott (Kathryn) Bub and Susan (Paul) Walthall; two great-grandchildren Avery and Hannah; one sister, Helen Ziarnik; one brother, Arvin Leonhard. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son-in-law Roger, two brothers; Arthur and Elmer Leonhard, five sisters; Lillian Helf, Irene Fiedler, Dorothy Koenig, Annie Louisier and Margaret Meinnert. Visitation will be held at St. Mark's UCC, W1307 Orchard Road, Cleveland, on Tuesday, November 18 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Funeral Service at 12 Noon with Rev. William Kesting presiding. Burial at Lutheran Cemetery in Sheboygan. Memorials are appreciated to the church. A special thank you to the staff at Golden Living for their care and support.
