Margaret Raml

Margaret J. Raml, age 89, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Pine Haven, Sheboygan Falls. She was born on November 11, 1924 to parents Paul and Helen (Samsa) Valentincic in Sheboygan. Margaret attended Ss. Cyril and Methodius school and graduated from Central High in 1943. She then attended Sheboygan County Normal College. Margaret taught at Bonnieview Elementary in the Town of Wilson and at Haven School. Margaret was united in marriage to Joseph L. Raml at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish on June 28, 1947. Marge was a life-long member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius parish, participating in the Christian Mothers, School Board and KSKJ. She enjoyed reading and traveling, including a trip to Italy. Marge cherished the times with her relatives and friends. The most important though, was her family and they always came first. Marge was a loving wife and mother, devoting her life to raising her family. She also enjoyed singing and there was always a song in her heart and on her lips. Margaret is survived by eight children; Barbara (James) Voight, Margie (Jerry) Schoemer, Thomas Raml, Cindy (Mike) Brookins, Joseph (Corinne) Raml, Helen Bries, Andy (Patti) Raml and Julie (special friend Ron) Dais, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Joseph, two sisters; Pauline Bushner and Helen Bruno, two brothers; August and Joseph Valentincic, and two grandchildren; Danny Brookins and Kelly Bries. Visitation at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish, 822 New Jersey Ave., on Monday, July 14 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with Fr. Richard Cerpich presiding. Committal to follow at Greendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Margaret's name to Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish, Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, or the American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank the staff at Pine Haven Assisted Living and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their care and compassion.
