Margaret then embarked on a teaching career which began in 1961 in Redlands, California where she taught Jr. High English, retiring in 1992 after twenty nine years. She returned home to Oostburg at that time to care for her father.
Over the years Marge had a penchant for fine dining and exploring new restaurants with family and friends.
She is survived by her nephews, Mark (Sue) Heimlich of Plover, WI, John Heimlich of Madison, WI, William Heimlich of Appleton, WI, and Sam (Jenifer) Heimlich of Minneapolis, MN; her niece, Elizabeth Heimlich and her husband, Lyle Rundhaug of Janesville, WI; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Heimlich and her niece, Christine DAmico.
Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to her caregivers over the years, including the staff at Sheboygan Senior Community and Prairie Crossing, and especially Atty. David VanDeWater for his dedication and guidance.
Margarets family will be having a private celebration of her life on Lake Michigan at a later date. Oh, she loved that Lake!
