Marjorie Koch

Marjorie I. "Marge" Koch, age 92, formerly of 1613 South 9th Street Sheboygan, died Monday December 8, 2014 at Sunny Ridge Healthcare Center where she had been a resident. Marjorie was born in Antigo, Wisconsin to the late Charles and Libby Maney. She graduated from Elcho High School in 1940. She enlisted in the United States Navy in October of 1943, serving for 2 ½ years. Marjorie married Carl H. Koch on July 1, 1950 in Sheboygan. Carl and Marjorie enjoyed touring the state. She was a member of 1st Congregational United Church of Christ in Sheboygan. Surviving Marjorie are three sons, Gary (Darlene) of West Bend, Brian (Nancy) and Vernon (Dawn), both of Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Alynna (Tyler) Malson and Emily (Eric) Stranberg, Christopher (Sarah) and Nicholas Koch, three great-grandchildren. One sister Mary Woods of Chilton, one sister and brother-in-law, Ceclia (Paul) Howe of New Holstein, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Rita and George Degen of Plymouth survives her as well as nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held for Marjorie on Saturday, December 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Zimmer's Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center W2132 Garton Road (Hwy 42 and County JJ). Reverend James Hollister will officiate, Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Westview from Noon until the time of the service. A special thanks go to the staff of Sunny Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care she received while a resident. A memorial fund has been established in Marjorie's name.
