Marjorie Elaine Schultz, 85, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. Marjorie was born on March 12, 1933, in Junction City, WI to the late Arleigh and Eva (Swanson) Borth. She attended Town of Mosel elementary school, followed by vocational school in Stevens Point, WI. After school she moved to Sheboygan.
On May 30, 1953 she was united in marriage to the love of her life Elmer Schultz at the Salvation Army Church in Sheboygan.
Marjorie was employed by Lakeland Manufacturing Co., Jung Shoe Factory, Wigwam Mills, and the Sheboygan Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1995. She was a member of Evangelical Free Church in Sheboygan.
Elmer and Marjorie had a hobby farm with lots of animals, and enjoyed tending to their many flower gardens. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, and watching the Packers. She enjoyed taking bus tours with Elmer, and the many trips with her daughters and grandchildren. She loved cooking and baking for family holiday dinners, and was anxiously awaiting the birth of her newest great-grandson.
Marjorie is survived by her two loving daughters, Linda Voskamp and Wanda (Brian) Drews, Sheboygan; by grandchildren Joshua (Holly) Prigge and their children Malorie, Markus and Tanner, Elkhart Lake; Angela (Nathan) Putz and their children Chloe, Caleb, Ethan and Mason, Fond du Lac; Ashley (Tyler) Groat, Highland, IL; and step-granddaughter Tara Drews; by her sister Ruthann Johnson, Tulsa, OK; brothers, Niles (Kay) Borth, and Louis (Charlene) Borth; sister-in-law Sandra Schultz; and by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, her parents, sisters Arleen (Harold) Heck and Dorothy (Al) Collins; brothers Charles (Joyce), and Gene Borth; by sisters-in-law Darlyn Borth, Molly (Walter) Halverson and Violet (Charles) McGuire; brothers-in-law James Johnson, Richard and Clarence Schultz, Henry (Emma), Rudolph (Dorothy) and Christ Deckert.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St, Sheboygan, with Pastor Jon MacDonald officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit and support the family on Wednesday, May 9 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Marjorie's name.
