Marvin E. Moths, 75, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully, at home, on Saturday, March 11, 2017. He was born in Sheboygan on December 17, 1941 to the late Daniel and Lillian (Dickmann Kaeser) Moths. Marvin attended Parnell grade school and Plymouth High School. On July 14, 1962, he was united in marriage to Myrtle Rentmeester at St. Michael's Church in Parnell. He was employed by Kohler Company in the Brass Department for 41 years and was a proud member of Kohler's Quarter Century Club. Marvin was a wonderful husband and father. He had a big heart, a fabulous sense of humor and brought joy and laughter to those around him. His favorite places were his backyard, filled with trees, birds and little creatures, including the red squirrel. Come winter, there was nothing like his man cave, where he also enjoyed watching the Brewers, Packers and NASCAR. Marvin enjoyed nature, fishing with his grandkids and the many simple things in life. He felt himself to be rich in family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Myrtle, he is survived by two daughters, Mona (Chuck) Strean, Sheboygan and Manda (Kurt Brem) Moths Schwartz, Sheboygan; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Nolan and Everett Strean, Sebastian and Samantha Schwartz and Hoyt and Korbin Brem; two sisters, Evelyn Kaeser Brooke and Mabel Moths Meyer; two brothers, Calvin (Gerry) Moths and Carlos (Audrey) Moths; six sisters-in-law, Irene (Larry, Jr.) Holzmann, Barbara Webb (Ken Pannier), Diana (Cris) Schneider, Sylvia Hoitink, Cynthia (Galen) Swartzendruber and Angela (Dennis) Fortune Sarchet. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Norbert Kaeser and Alvin (Marion) Kaeser; two brothers-in-law, Norman Brooke and Lloyd Meyer, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Agnes Rentmeester, two brothers-in-law, John Webb and Paul Hoitink and his special Godson, Craig.
