Mary Becker

Becker, Mary Elizabeth (nee Lamb) died at the Milwaukee Catholic Home with family holding her hand on January 26, 2021, at the age of 88.   Cherished wife of 55 years to Wayne; beloved mother to Kathy, Jon (Sue) and Lisa.  Grandmother to Ana, Lauren, Natalie and great-grandmother of seven.    Preceded in death by Wayne, her parents, Aloysius and Eva Lamb and her aunt Anna Chvarack.    Mary was an author, a teacher, a knitter, a seamstress, a crocheter and the Northshore Quilter Guild’s “Little Miss Sunshine”, but lovingly accepted the job of bandmaster’s wife and mother above all.   She was loved by all who were so fortunate to cross her path.   A Catholic graveside committal service is planned for April 24th, 2021, weather permitting, at Calvary Cemetery in Sheboygan.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Milwaukee Catholic Home or the Alzheimer's Association.
