Melvin Perronne

Melvin P. Perronne, age 89, passed away, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. He was born July 13, 1924 in the Town of Sheboygan to parents Paul and Frances (Forster) Perronne. Melvin was united in marriage on May 18, 1957 to Marilyn Fasse at Holy Name rectory. He worked at Kohler Company in the Engine Plant and later retiring in the Security Department after 33 years of service in 1988. Melvin enjoyed playing sheeps head, bowling, gardening, feeding and watching birds. He was also an avid sports fan. Melvin loved sweets and would not pass up a good dessert. He also looked forward to the annual family outing down to Port Washington for Fish Day. Melvin is survived by his wife; Marilyn, two daughters; Michele Perronne and Melissa (Terry) Woelfel, two grandchildren; Bryce and Grace Woelfel, one brother; Kenneth (Roma) Perronne, two sister-in-laws; Nancy Perronne and Mae Schmidt, one god daughter; Dawn Perronne, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, brother; Donald Perronne, and brother-in-law; LaVern Schmidt. Visitation at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd.,(Hwy 42 & JJ), on Sunday, April 13, from 1 PM - 3 PM. Continued visitation at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 807 Superior Ave, Sheboygan on Monday, April 14 from 10 AM - 11 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Fr. Matthew Widder presiding. Burial to follow at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Memorials in Melvin's name are appreciated.
