Michael R. Naze, 63, of Sheboygan, passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, May 18, 2015 at home. Mike was born September 10, 1951 in Green Bay to the late Ralph and Elaine (Bolssen) Naze. He graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1970. After graduation he attended St. Norbert's College and went on to graduate from UW-La Crosse. Mike worked the majority of his career in the insurance and pension administration business and most recently at Bemis Manufacturing retiring in the fall of 2014. Mike was an athlete that participated in several sports during high school and college. He enjoyed coaching youth basketball for many years and watching his nieces and nephews participate in sports and various activities. He was also an avid Packer and Badger fan and enjoyed other outdoor activities including golfing, hunting, fishing and, of course, camping with friends. He was known for his love of music and enjoyed listening to local bands and musicians. Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Maureen (Ray) Calvesio, The Villages, FL, Lisa (David) Flood, Plymouth, Patti (Andy) Raml, Sheboygan, Scott (Richelle) Naze, Waukesha and Kathy (Tim) Kohlbeck, Mequon; numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (2722 Henry Street, Sheboygan) with the Rev. Paul Fliss as celebrant. Friends may call on Saturday, at the church, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name. Mike had a heart of gold, was a wonderful brother, was a friend to all and will be dearly missed.
