Nancy Soucheck

February 21, 1949 — March 23, 2014

Nancy Kay Soucheck, age 65, found eternal peace on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Nancy was born on February 21, 1949 to Wilmer and Arlette (Stiemke) Schultz. She attended elementary and high school in the Arlington/Poynette area. She furthered her education at UW-Stevens Point where she met her husband Arthur. On May 6, 1972 Nancy and Art were united in marriage at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Leeds, Wisconsin. They lived their entire married life in Sheboygan, Wisconsin where they raised three children. Nancy worked at Sheboygan Glass Company, St. Nicholas Hospital, and most recently as a Patient Care Coordinator at Advanced Pain Management. Nancy enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, a good Bloody Mary, and traveling. Nancy and Art took many "Mystery Tours" together and tried their luck at many casinos along the way. They enjoyed spending summers in Door County and soaking up the rays in Arizona. Above all, Nancy was a very proud and devoted mom and grandma. The love she had for her children was unconditional. The love she had for her grandchildren was never ending. They were the loves of her life and the light in her eyes. Nancy is lovingly survived by her husband Art, her children Angie (Greg) MacFarlan, Erika (Bob Longhurst) Soucheck, and Shawn (Melissa) Soucheck; grandchildren Madalyn and Chloe MacFarlan, Austin Radinzel, and Reed Soucheck; step grandsons Sean and Andrew Landgraf. She is also survived by her sister Bonnie (Jack) Alexander, brother Bob (Lisa) Schultz, sister-in-law Carolyn Schultz, father-in-law Arthur Soucheck Sr., brother-in-law Allan (Holly) Soucheck; nieces and nephews Rob, Katy, Leo, Kevin and Darin Schultz, Anne and Scott Soucheck and other relatives and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ronald Schultz, nephew and godson Todd Alexander, mother-in-law Dolores Soucheck and sister-in-law Susie Slattery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove). A memorial service will take place following visitation. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Nancy's name. Nancy's family would like to thank Dr. Kumar and the compassionate staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, the 2K staff at Memorial Medical Center, and the angels at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for all the love and care provided to Nancy. To Nancy's closest friends and her APM family we thank you for being such a special part of her life and ours. Nancy will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Her beautiful smile will live in our hearts and memories forever. .
