Orlynn Bramstedt

April 18, 1941 — March 15, 2015

Orlynn H. Bramstedt, age 73 passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born April 18, 1941, in Sheboygan to the late Willard and Winona (Harms) Bramstedt. He attended grade school at Green Bay Road and graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1959. On November 5, 1966, he married the former Sue Ann Siemers at Immanuel United Church of Christ. He was employed at Vollrath for 42 years as a spot welder before retiring in 2004. He also worked part time at the family farms of Paul Wickesburg, Steve Sprenger and Fritz Perronne, which brought him great joy. Orlynn was a member of the Howards Grove Athletic Club and the Millersville Recreation Association. He was also a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. He enjoyed gardening, attending Badger games with his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Sue Ann, he is survived by four sons, Jeffrey (Susie) Bramstedt, Matthew (Lori) Bramstedt, Aaron (Kari) Bramstedt and Jason (Anna Marie) Bramstedt; ten grandchildren, Trevor, Morgan, Noah, Tyler, Caden, Olivia, Owen, Brienna, Sierra and Alexis; three brothers, Allan (Donna) Bramstedt, Dale (Kathleen) Bramstedt and Dennis Bramstedt; two sisters, Janice (Roger) Lieffring and Lori (Mark) Feldmann; sister-in-law, Diane Siemers; brother-in-law, Fritz Marten. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Cindy Bramstedt and Martha Marten and one brother-in-law, Eldred Siemers. A time of visitation and support will be held at Immanuel U.C.C., W3694 County Hwy FF, Plymouth on Friday, March 20 from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Memorial Service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Laura Yurs presiding. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Orlynn's name. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mark Bettag and his staff for their care and concern.
