Pamela Myren Johnson passed away suddenly on November 11th 2014 at Columbia St. Mary in Milwaukee after undergoing a routine elective surgery. Though her surgery went well, she encountered unexpected post operation complications. Pamela, age 55, born to Gerald and Donna Myren of Whitehall, WI in Eau Claire Wisconsin at Luther Hospital on August 17th, 1959 and is proceeded in death by her special Grandma, Minnie Myren, whom she loved to bake birthday cakes with, and her Aunt Beverly. She will be sorely missed by both family, her many friends she has met and made throughout life, and her Pomeranian Niki that she admitted had her wrapped around her paw. Pamela graduated from Whitehall High School and continued her education at LTC, fulfilling her dream of receiving her Paralegal degree. She worked at Health and Human Services as an Economic Support Specialist for many years, often working at LTC at night aiding adults with their educational needs which she enjoyed as was her nature of helping others. Pamela was always quick to help where needed, offering what she could and often more, to those that needed it most. She will be sorely missed by those that she knew and loved, whom she always greeted with a warm smile and offered more than she ever has asked of them. She is survived by her two brothers David (Beth) Myren, Dan (Tonya) Myren, two nieces (Sarah and Hailey), two nephews (Brent and Cole), many aunts and uncles, and other beloved family members. She is also survived by her grandchildren Phoenix Hughes and Lukas Hughes of which she loved to see and spent countless hours playing on the floor, making homemade ice cream and other various "concoctions", watching disney movies (the Disney Channel ever present in the background at her house even when no children were present), or other adventurous things. She truly had the sparkle of childhood that she so artfully maintained that would show in her eyes each time she would see them and lead them to her well-stocked toy cabinet or next video game/book adventure when she would visit them. Her grandchildren's' love of new technology was perpetually rivaled by hers as she excitedly would show and explain her newest find. Pamela was always the rock for her sons Lee (Kathy) Hughes and Adam Hughes, offering sound advice, quick witted humor without judgement and a helping hand or ear when needed most. Her love and pride was unmatched as she was quick to have pictures or "embarrassing" videos that she would proudly share to the chagrin of her sons that would love her all the more when she would present them with a sheepish look. Pamela's love of baking and crafts was evident in her gifts to others and many requests from friends that she would freely and frequently give. From tasty treats to wonderful decorations that she would spend hours creating for those she felt needed a little brightness in their uncertain times. She enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and family, and spoiling her grandchildren as "that's what grandparents do" she would remind us. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan where she enjoyed attending with her children and grandchildren. Though the world may seem a darker place without her, heaven has become that much brighter. She will be forever missed and loved by those that knew her. With all our love... A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Ave, Sheboygan on Saturday, November 22 at 2:00 pm. A time of visitation and support will be held from 1:00 until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name. Pam will be laid to rest at the family site located at St. Paul Evangelical Cemetery (German Valley), W17486 - W17498 Guse Rd, Whitehall, WI 54773 on November 28th at 3:00 pm.
