Patricia G. Hornes

Patricia G. Hornes, age 85, of passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Aurora Baycare Medical Center in Green Bay.

She was born on December 27, 1936, in Fond du Lac to the late James and Lenora (Grosse) Keenan.  Patricia was confirmed and also a faithful member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac.  In 1976, Patricia married Robert Hornes in Green Bay.  He preceded her in death on February 15, 2012.  Patricia was employed at Plastics Engineering, retiring in 1996.

Patricia enjoyed gardening, reading and doing her daily crossword puzzle.  She also liked watching her mysterious television shows.  Patricia also loved the companionship of her beloved cat, Ambrosia.

She is survived by her children, Daniel Sams of Louisville, TN, Lecia Sams of Green Bay; grandchildren, Laura and Alex Sams, both of Louisville, TN and a sister, Elaine (Ray) Bauer; and other relatives and friends.

Along with her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Kennan, James (Kay) Kennan Jr., Rosemary (Joe) Fortunato, Jerome Kennan, Madeline (Jack) Wendel and Robert (Shirley) Keenan.

A Funeral Service for Patricia will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at St. Peter Claver Parish, 1439 S 12th St. in Sheboygan, with Father Paul Fliss officiating.  Family will greet visitors at church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.  Patricia will be laid to rest next to Robert at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Patricia’s name can be made to the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
