Patricia A. Olsen, a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, went home to her Lord on September 16, 2015 after complications from Parkinson's Disease. Patricia was born on July 6, 1937, in Sturgeon Bay, the daughter of Morris and Marie (Hengartner) Oenes. After graduating from Sturgeon Bay High School, she attended college in Minnesota in the medical profession of laboratory technology. In 1958, she moved to Sheboygan, taking a position at St. Nicholas Hospital as a laboratory technician. Pat worked at St. Nicholas Hospital until retiring in 1999. After moving to Sheboygan, she met her future husband, Randall. They were married on December 2, 1961, at the Moravian Church in Sturgeon Bay. Patricia and Randall were blessed with three children, Lisa (Mark) Heronymus, Lance (special friend, Jean Codrey) Olsen, Lynn Meyer (fiancé John Schilder), along with her grandson, Jacob Meyer (special friend, Abbi Christiansen). Patricia loved to sing in church or just anywhere her heart moved her. She was a caring, compassionate, soft spoken person that always had a kind word for everyone. Pat and Randy enjoyed vacationing in their motor home, traveling throughout the United States. They also enjoyed cruises to Alaska and Punta Cana. Pat was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed spending time with her friends. Pat had fond memories of the times spent with family and the very special friends she made at the cottage they built on Beecher Lake in northern Wisconsin. Patricia is survived by her husband, children and grandson, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jerilyn Oenes, sister-in-law, Sandra Bruns, nieces and nephews, Craig Oenes, Michelle (Terry) Swanson, Steven, Jay and Heidi Bruns and a special, lifelong friend from Sturgeon Bay, Joan Harding. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Hubert Charles, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jerome and Ruth Sneider, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Landa Sue and Terry Wohlrabe and brother-in-law, LeRoy Bruns. A funeral service for Pat will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church (1429 N. 5th Street, Sheboygan) with the Rev. Dr. Richard Manny officiating. Friends may call on Saturday, at the church, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be at Gardens of Peace Mausoleum. Please visit www.zimmerfuneralhome.com to sign the guestbook. A memorial fund has been established in Patricia's name for the First Presbyterian Church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Sheboygan Falls Police Department, the Sheboygan Falls First Responders and the staff at St. Nicholas Hospital and St. Vincent Hospital ICU staff. They also extend a special thank you to Donna Willfahrt for the care and love she gave to Pat. The Lord is my Shepherd: I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil: My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
