Patricia Pirus

Patricia A. Pirus, age 77, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Ashley Manor, Boise, ID. She was born on September 9, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI to parents Joseph and Pearl Byron. Patricia worked in registration at St. Nicholas Hospital for 8 years and then worked at Montessori school as a pre-school teacher for 11 years. She enjoyed reading and writing letters. She especially enjoyed belonging to TOPS for 26 years where she met some of her best friends. Patricia is survived by her son, Joseph (Heather) Pirus of Boise, ID, her grandchildren Maxwell Pirus, Leo Pirus, & Opal Pirus, her brother Michael J. (Helen) Byron of Beloit, and her nephews and niece Dick Byron Jr., Paul Byron, Bill Byron, Sean Byron, Casey Byron and Kristine Byron. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Pearl Byron and her brother Richard (Carol) Byron of Wausau. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 824 Superior Ave., on Friday, January 3 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Matthew Widder presiding. Visitation at the church from 10:00 AM until time of mass. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
