Patricia Watrud

Patricia A. Watrud, 82, of Sheboygan, formerly of Manitowoc, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, October 31, 2016.
Patricia was born January 11, 1934, the daughter of James and Leona (nee Beinemann) Lohr. She graduated from Central High School in Sheboygan, and attended college in LaCrosse.
Pat was united in marriage with A. Dean Watrud on December 28, 1952 in Sheboygan. The couple lived in Germany and Madison before making their home in Manitowoc in the late 1950's. For over 45 years, Pat and Dean were active members of the Manitowoc community.
Pat was a former member of First Lutheran Church in Manitowoc, and a current member of First United Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Pat actively participated in the ESA Sorority for over 50 years, both at a state level and nationally. Through the ESA, she was a dedicated volunteer who participated in numerous fundraisers, St. Jude's bikeathons and other events. She was passionate about helping others, and will be remembered for her generosity and love of her family.
When she wasn't volunteering, Pat was a prolific knitter, and enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends.
Pat is survived by her children, Rev. James (Nancy) Watrud, Jody (Jeffrey) Wheeler, Julie (Kurt) Jacobson, and Jeremy (Sarah) Watrud; grandchildren, Andrew and Kaitlin Watrud, Colin and Rebecca Wheeler, Laura and Matthew Jacobson; sister Judy (Len) Rubens; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dean, her brother, Jim T. Lohr and brothers-in-law: Robert (Inez) Watrud and Harland (Marie) Watrud.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 4th at 12:30 p.m. at First United Lutheran Church, 2401 Kohler Memorial Drive, Sheboygan. Rev. Todd W. Smith will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or First United Lutheran Church.
