Patricia Wensauer

Patricia Ann Wensauer, age 72, of Sheboygan, died Thursday morning, July 2, 2015. She was born January 20, 1943 in Sheboygan to Oscar and Ida Mae (Schmidt) Richards. She attended local Sheboygan schools. On January 8, 1966 Patricia and Engelbert A. "Bert" Wensauer, Jr. were united in marriage at Trinity Lutheran Church. They enjoyed spending many weekends "up north" at their cottage. Bert preceded her in death on April 25, 2012. Pat enjoyed shopping for antiques. Over the years she acquired a large collection of salt and pepper shakers. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheri Ann Wensauer-Rankin and Eric Steven Rankin of Sheboygan; her grandchildren, Gavin Steven Rankin and Molly Ann Rankin; her sister, Betty Tershner (special friend, Donald Melville) of Sheboygan; brothers, Jim Summers of Mishicot, WI, Leroy Richards of Oostburg, George (Sharon) Richards, Mike (Gladys) Richards, and Ronald Richards all of Sheboygan; her sister-in-law, Diane Richards of Sheboygan and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter and her brother, Thomas Richards. A memorial gathering in Pat's honor will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
