Pearl Leonhardt

Pearl Ann Leonhardt, age 89, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday June 30, 2013 at the Appleton Medical Center. She was born in Sheboygan on July 25, 1923, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Angst) Radke. William Leonhard was united in marriage to the former Pearl Radke on May 25, 1946. He preceded her in death on August 2, 2005. For many years, Pearl was employed at Hallmark Cards and Sachses in Sheboygan. A loving and caring mother and grandmother, Pearl had a special relationship with her great-granddaughter. Pearl is survived by a daughter, Linda (William) Hanley and their children; Christian, Ian (special friend Leighanne Gill) and Meghan (Nick) Petters, and one great-granddaughter, Charlotte Petters, all of Appleton. She is further survived by two brothers; Ralph (Mary) and James (Diane) Radke, both of Sheboygan; four sisters; Barbara Dougherty, Judith (Peter) Gabrielse, Doris Wagner and Virginia (Louis) Woiak, all of Sheboygan as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Pearl was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Robert Wagner, Robert Dougherty. A funeral service wil be held for Pearl on Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Zimmer's Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center W2132 Garton Road (Hwy 42 and County JJ). Entombemnt will follow at the Garden of Peace Mausoleum of Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at Westview on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. Memorials may be made in Pearl's name for the Salvation Army.
