Penelope Nogosek

Penelope "Penny" Nogosek, age 62, found peace on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee after suffering a brain aneurism earlier last week. Penny was born February 15, 1952 in Milwaukee to Fred and Ann (Meisner) Gruber. Penny worked at Toy's Oriental Grocery Store before beginning employment at Jumes Restaurant for more than twenty years. Currently she was working at Pick N Save in Sheboygan. On October 22, 1994 Penny and Randall Nogosek were united in marriage. Penny was a very caring, loving person who loved her family very much. Her dogs Ace and Deuce were her babies. She was an avid Wisconsin sports fan who very rarely missed a Packer, Brewer or Badgers game. Her favorite player was Packer Clay Matthews. She also enjoyed spending time up north and being in the woods. She dreamed of retiring and possibly living in a wooded area. In addition to her loving husband, Randy, she is survived by her mother, Ann Reinemann of Sheboygan; her children, Lance Vandermus of Deforest, Jason Vandermus of Sheboygan, and Jennifer (Pat) Krause of Sheboygan; her step-children, T.J. (Kelsey) Nogosek of Fargo, ND, Phillip Nogosek of Fargo, ND, and Pamela Nogosek; grandchildren, Michael Coldren, Dylan Coldren, Ronan Vandermus, Paityn Nogosek, Hayden Wilhelmi, Logan Nogosek, Krystal Nogosek, and Dylan Nogosek; her sisters, Pam Wilson, Candy (Doug) Peterman, and Gwen (Pat) Prevenas; her brothers, Jeff Gruber, Milo Lewandoski, and Jerry Lewandoski, Brian (LaRue) Lewandoski; her aunts, Yvonne Meisner and Shirley (Jim) Thies; many relatives and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Gruber; her brother, Fred Gruber; her step-fathers, Jerry Lewandoski and Dale Reinemann; and her maternal and paternal grandparents. A memorial gathering in celebration of Penny's life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Chapel of Eternal Light at Greenlawn Memorial Park from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
