Renee Greger

Renee Nicole Greger, 21, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 4, 2014. She was born August 20, 1993 at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska to Mark Greger and Veronica Benavides. She was baptized at First Christian Reformed Church, Sheboygan. Prior to moving to Sheboygan, Renee attended DOD schools in Virginia and the Republic of Turkey. Renee attended Sheboygan Christian School from 4th through 8th grade. She then attended Sheboygan County Christian High School from 9th through 11th grade. Renee then graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 2012. While in school, she was active in volleyball and basketball. Renee worked as a waitress at several restaurants, including Fountain Park and The Mucky Duck. Renee also worked at the Chinatown Kitchen and Déjé vu Retail Shop among other places. Renee took interest in writing, photography, skateboarding and was also known to compose her own music. She also enjoyed spending much of her time by Lake Michigan. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Lilliana (Eduardo) Guevara, Oceanside, CA and Alessandra Greger, Sheboygan; one brother, Henry T. Greger, Sheboygan; one niece, Iris Guevara and her maternal grandparents, Rosalio and Manuela Benavides. She is further survived by close relatives and friends locally and in Texas, Michigan and Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Henry G. and Laura Greger and one aunt, Kristine Grunewald. A funeral service for Renee will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church (428 Geele Avenue, Sheboygan) with the Rev. Aaron Back officiating. Friends may call on Friday, at the church, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
