Richard Dexter

Richard C. Dexter, 80, of Sheboygan, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Morningside Health Care Services in Sheboygan.  He was born May 16, 1942, in Chicago, IL to the late Richard and Emma (Brauer) Dexter.  Richard graduated from BayShore High School with the Class of 1959.

He proudly joined the US Air Force serving 20 years from 1960 to 1980, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant.  Richard was a contracting Supervisor for 6 years, munitions system supervisor for 19 years and a training specialist for 13 years. He proudly served during Vietnam.

On September 17, 1982, he was united in marriage to Judith Henry.

After his serve to our country Richard worked for Prudential Insurance for 16 years and retired from Bellin Transport in 2007.

Richard is survived by his wife of 39 years, Judith, sons, Joseph Dexter, James (Maria) Henry, and Richard (Linda) Henry, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and his sister Sally Scwacher.  He is further survived by other relatives and friends.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents and son Lewis Dexter.

Inurnment with Military Honors will take place at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
