Richard Zugel

Richard A. Zugel, 63, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 10, 2013. Rick was born January 3, 1950 in Milwaukee to the late Rose (Petrin) Zugel and Francis Zugel. On January 6, 1973, he married Kathy Buettner. Rick spent his career in housewares sales, most recently with DKB Household. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, golfing and cruising in his Stingray. In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by two children, Jennifer (Brian) Hall, Greenville, SC and Chris (Jenni) Zugel, Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Rachel and Matthew Hall and Elliott and Haiden Zugel; one brother, Frank (Nancy) Zugel, Savannah, GA; one sister, Judy Zugel, Milwaukee. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Beth. A funeral service for Rick will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. at Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove) with Deacon Michael Burch officiating. Friends may call on Thursday, at the funeral home, from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Rick's name to be used for Bethesda Lutheran Communities.
