Robert M. Meyer

Robert M. Meyer, 96, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully with his son at his side on Sunday, January 8, 2023.  He was born September 7, 1926 in Sheboygan to the late Charles and Rose (Shapiro) Meyer.  Robert graduated from North High School with the Class of 1944; he then went on to receive his bachelors degree in Business Administration from UW Madison.

Robert proudly served in the Army Air Corps.  On December 10, 1964 he was united in marriage to Gloria M. Anger. Together they celebrated 45 years. She preceded him in death on May 25, 2010.

Robert along with his brother Richard co-owned and ran the family business People’s Inc. in downtown Sheboygan until their retirement in 1991.

Robert is survived by his son C.J. Meyer, brother Richard Meyer, niece Cynthia Meyer and her children Cameron and Isabel.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gloria, and nephew Jay Meyer.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
