Robert L. Pribbernow, age 75 passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. He was born June 6, 1939 in Withee, WI to parents Alvin and Martha (Hanneman) Pribbernow. Robert proudly served in the US Army from October 1957 - February 1961 and January 1964 - October 1965 as an engineer in Germany. He was united in marriage on August 19, 1966 to Katherine E. Bricco. Robert worked at Kohler Co. - Engine Division for 39 years, retiring in 2005. Robert was an usher at St. Dominic's Catholic Church for over 25 years. He was a crossing guard at Jefferson School for 7 years, where he enjoyed helping the children and parents. Robert was an avid bowler for many years for Dick's Club and Futzies Teams and enjoyed golfing at local courses. He loved camping at Crooked Lake, while relaxing with family and friends. Robert's greatest passion was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Katherine. Five children; John (Tracy) Majerle, Teresa (Michael) Gonering, Becky (Brad) Schultz, Mark (Michele) Pribbernow and Christopher (Laura) Pribbernow, eighteen grandchildren; John Trevor, Nicole, Gaven and Alison Majerle, Melissa (Andrew) Maas, Danielle, Michelle and Erika Gonering, Amanda Pribbernow, Nicholas (Allie) Tasche, Andrew and Hayden Schultz, Annabelle (Joe) Black, Grace, Zeke and Forest Pribbernow, Jacob and Sydnee Pribbernow, five great-grandchildren; Carter, Lilliana, Melek, Norah and Luna. Two brothers; Chuck (Eileen) and Al Jr. (Alice) Pribbernow, three brothers-in-law; John (Sue), Tom (Kathy) and Peter Bricco, five sisters-in-law; Arlene Pribbernow, Barb Vanderhoof, Karen (Ron) Doolittle, Janet (Pat) Miller and Diane (Mark) Minch. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, one son; Anthony "Tony", siblings; Ruben, Earl, Ben, Donald, Evelyn Szczesniak, Lucile Santala and Betty Halida, father and mother-in-law; Arnold and Geneva Bricco, brother-in-law; Daniel Bricco. A time of visitation and support for the family will be held at BALLHORN CHAPELS FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE CENTER, 1201 N. 8th St., on Saturday, February 21 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Funeral Service at 12 NOON with Chaplain Tim Hull presiding. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family would like to thank Aurora At Home, especially MaryAnn, Judy and Chaplain Tim Hull.
