Robert "Bob" Benke

Robert “Bob” L. Benke, age 71, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022.  Bob was born on April 10, 1951, in Sheboygan, to the late Adolph and Orlena (Diener) Benke. Bob graduated from Sheboygan South High School with the class of 1969.

Bob worked in local factories as a machinist and a tool and die worker in the Sheboygan area. His pride and joy were his corvettes, he enjoyed going to Road America, car shows and racing. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, rooting for the Packers, Bucks and the Brewers. He was a member of the Luther Memorial Church.

Bob is survived by his sister Sharon (Roger) Heyn; his nieces and nephews, Andrew (Blair Marvin) Heyn, Laura (Matthew) Gallagher, James Benke and Greg Benke; great nephew Phineas Marvin, sister-in-law Claire Benke, along with many other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Alan Benke.

A private service will be held at Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Adam Barkley officiating.

The family would like to thank the Radtke family for being such great friends and neighbors to Bob over the years.
