Roger J. Pfennig

Roger J. Pfennig, age 79, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Edenbrook in Fond du Lac where he had been a resident. He was born in Lacrosse on January 2, 1944, to the late Frank and Louise (Semlac) Pfennig. He graduated Lacrosse Central High School and continued his education at UW Lacrosse. Roger worked in the advertising industry for the majority of his working career.

He enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing, and spending time with friends and family in northern Wisconsin. Roger had a unique sense of humor and his “rogey-isms” will continue to bring smiles to those who knew him.

Roger is survived by his children, Todd Pfennig of Eau Claire and Ann (Pat) Bichler of Sheboygan; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Karsyn Bichler; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Along with his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard (Gladys) Pfennig, Ray (Carol) Pfennig, Robert (Bev) Pfennig, James (Barb) Pfennig and Russell (Betty) Pfennig, and a sister Jean (Robert) Tanke.

A Memorial Gathering for Roger will take place from 3:00 PM until 4:30 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8^th St. in Sheboygan.
