Rose Mary "Rosie" L. Bushman, 88, of Sheboygan, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at her home. Rosie was born in Sheboygan to the late Edward and Lauretta (Gries) Schwinn. In 1948 she was united in marriage to Raymond P. Bushman, he preceded her in death on April 20, 1994. Along with Raymond, Rosie ran a dairy farm in rural Manitowoc Co. She later was the owner/operator of Bushman's Bar in Cleveland. Rosie then retired as a mail clerk in 1989 for Lakeshore Technical College. Rosie is a member of St. John Ev. Parish in Kohler. She was a volunteer at St. Nicholas Hospital, an avid traveler enjoying cruises, bus tours, and wintering in AZ for several years. Rosie is survived by her daughter Diane (Robert) Vanderheiden of De Pere, by grandchildren; Katie Vanderheiden of Appleton, Daniel (Christa) Vanderheiden of Little Chute, and David Vanderheiden of Green Bay, by great-grandchildren Skyler Vanderheiden and Dirk Vanderheiden, by siblings; Charles (Marie) Schwinn of Sheboygan, James (Julie) Schwinn of Sheboygan, Leonard Schwinn of Howards Grove, and Arlene Held of Kiel, by sisters-in-law Mildred Bogenschutz of Manitowoc, Lucille Strauss of Manitowoc, and Rose Bushman of Osman, and special friend Roger Mueller. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son Daniel, her brother Gerald (Jola) Schwinn, sister-in-law Bergetta Schwinn, and brother-in law Terry Held, and by in-laws; Andrew (Mabel) Bushman, Arnold (Marcella) Holschbach, Steven (Rosalia) Wagner, Lincoln (Aurelia) Kohlbeck, Joseph (Lollie) Bushman, Richard Bogenschutz, Roland (Mary) LeCompte, Robert Bushman, Matthias (Julitta) Wagner, Odilo (Hattie) Bushman, Arnold (Margaret) Schill and infants Cecelia Bushman and Daniel Bushman.. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 6:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 600 Green Tree Rd. Kohler, with Rev. Dan Lasecki officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the CHURCH. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
